I bought a Sazanka pot with name tag Camellia x hiemalis 'Shishi-Gashira' at nursery 2 weeks ago.
I was thinking I will see semi-double red flower.
I like low growing semi-double red flower sazanka.

Well, my sazanka is blooming now with semi-double pink flower!?
With your photos, I think my sazanka is not Camellia x hiemalis 'Shishi-Gashira'. My sazanka looks like Camellia x vernalis 'Egao'.

Thank you for your information.

P.S.: I am looking for Camellia sasanqua 'Mikuni-ko'. Is Camellia sasanqua 'Mikuni-ko' available at the nursery in California?

Unfortunately, Early Pearly is not available in the United States as far as I know. You can probably get it from some nurseries in the Great Britain.
